How We Work With You.

Capax strengthens the organizational capacity required to implement priorities, manage complexity, and sustain results. We offer three ways to engage.

OCIA + OCIP

Assess capacity. Identify barriers. Build a practical path to improvement.

The Organizational Capacity & Implementation Assessment (OCIA) identifies an organization’s strengths, vulnerabilities, and the specific barriers standing between current state and implementation success. It produces a clear picture of where capacity gaps exist and why implementation breaks down. The Organizational Capacity Improvement Plan (OCIP) turns those findings into a prioritized, sequenced action plan the organization can actually execute. Capax offers direct engagements as well as licensing and institutional delivery models for organizations that want to build this capability internally or deploy it across multiple communities.

Who it’s for: Public agencies, utilities, regional organizations, and mission-driven institutions that need to understand their implementation capacity and build a credible path forward.

Fractional Services

Senior capacity without a full-time hire.

Capax provides experienced, senior-level capacity on a fractional basis — embedded in the organization’s work without requiring a full-time position. Fractional engagements are practical and focused: the right expertise, at the right level, for as long as it is needed. Engagements may include fractional leadership, implementation support, project management, organizational development, or program management, depending on what the organization needs to move its work forward.

Who it’s for: Organizations navigating a transition, a major initiative, a capacity gap, or a leadership need that does not require or cannot yet support a full-time role.

Custom Training & Workshops

Research-informed. Practitioner-designed. Built for your audience.

Capax develops and delivers learning experiences for public and mission-driven organizations. We offer existing Capax programs — including Leading Through Disruption — and fully custom curriculum designed around a client’s specific audience, goals, and context. Custom work may include workshop design, participant materials, exercises, facilitator resources, and delivery. Programs can be delivered as standalone sessions, multi-part series, or integrated into broader organizational development or change initiatives.

Who it’s for: Organizations, associations, universities, and intermediaries looking to strengthen leadership, implementation capacity, or organizational resilience across their teams or member communities.
